What We Will Offer
The HUB Laundromat will feature 30 to 35 energy efficient and top of the line washing machines and dryers that offer both coin and credit tap payment. The laundromat will accommodate washing loads as high as 80-100lbs and provide machines for the disabled to access.
In addition to traditional do-it-yourself laundry services, The HUB will offer convenient drop-off services where customers can have their laundry washed, dried, and folded by our professional team. To maximize accessibility and convenience, The HUB Laundromat will operate 7 days a week, with hours tailored to meet the needs of the community based on market analysis.
Complementing the laundromat, The HUB Healthy Corner Cafe’ will provide a space for residents to connect, work, and relax. Featuring complimentary Wi-Fi and designated work and meeting spaces, the cafe’ is designed to serve as a versatile community hub. The cafe’s offerings will include food sourced from local food entrepreneurs who utilize locally sourced foods with the option of utilizing a community commercial kitchen less than two miles away.
Laundry Services
The HUB Laundromat will feature 30 to 35 state-of-the-art coin and card-operated washing machines and dryers, capable of accommodating small, large families and commercial businesses. Commercial businesses including but not limited to daycares, Detroit youth sports leagues, beauty/barber shops and the Air BnB, VRBO, rental home industries.
Wash-Dry-Fold & Pick-up/Delivery
The HUB plans to introduce a wash-dry-fold and pick-up/delivery service providing time saving convenience for families and making laundry more accessible for individuals with disabilities or mobility limitations.
Community Workspace
A dedicated workspace equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi and amenities will provide a conducive environment for working, studying, or holding meetings.
Healthy Corner Cafe’
The HUB Healthy Corner Cafe’ will offer a wide array of food options sourced from local food entrepreneurs, promoting healthy lifestyles within the community.
